RutgersFest is a daylong cultural event which takes place outdoors on the Busch Campus Recreation Fields near the Soccer/Lacrosse Stadium. RutgersFest is designed to promote Rutgers College spirit through student organization participation with activities and entertainment throughout the day, culminating with a free concert and fireworks at night. It is a chance for students to experience one last major social event with the Rutgers community in an effort to celebrate the end of the academic year and relax before finals.

Rutgersfest 2005 will be held on April 29th, 2005. As usual, it is scheduled to be held in the area in front of Yurcak Field on Busch Campus with the rainsite being the RAC on Livingston Campus. Rutgersfest 2005 will once again try to bring the best musical talent and most entertaining attractions and games to provide Rutgers' students a fun-filled day.

In years past, top music talents have included: Kanye West, Sugar Ray, Guster, Goldfinger, Ludacris, Reel Big Fish, Method Man and Redman, Fuel, and many more. Some carnival attractions at recent RutgersFests have been the bungee bull, bouncy boxing, moon walk, electronic basketball, a recording studio, and tons more to keep the students entertained.

Info sessions will be held later in the year and many volunteers will be needed to help orchestrate such a large event.
